Story
A family on a ranch in Montana confronts others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned hand in the world of Rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montanan accent and slips back into his usual SoCal voice. Featured in WatchMojo: The 10 Best Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on the Radar (2018). This is the type of show where cowboy/western life meets big-city mob life. This show is well-acted, the first two episodes are well-written, and you’ll want more after each episode. Not to mention the beautiful scenery of Montana and Utah. Dutton reminds me of Ewing from the 70s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone meets “Dallas” meets “The Sopranos.”..
