When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a scheme to get revenge and shake up the industry.
I never expected it to be this good!
There’s drama, suspense, tension, and the dialogue is genuinely hilarious!
Each character is carefully developed, even if they only appear for a few minutes
But as the plot progresses, it seems that despite the complex and personal problems experienced by each of the three main characters, the series is mostly comedic and proof of this is that the director has a great understanding of what makes a great comedy: MOVEMENT.
Hands down the direction
Indeed, most of the 'funny movies or series' that are being released these days lack this essential material, namely actors who know how to use MOVEMENT for comedic effect.
