He is smart. This is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. In the eighth season, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. He is for David Zayas Jr. In some shots, he replaces his father, because they are very similar.

Throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side unmarked. Greenberg, and in the actor’s the lineup includes “Buffy / Angel” mainstay Julie Benz)
After four episodes, I’m ready to declare this the best show on television right now, one that could one day top the likes of The Sopranos and the first season of Twin Peaks, as a contender for the second best show of all time. times (after the incomparable “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, former one of the producers and screenwriters of the series; screenwriter “Buffy” Drew Z. Dexter is a sociopath, a man without human feelings and, therefore, without a natural internal moral compass, and he has an insatiable bloodlust that drives him to kill. . But he had the great honor of being the adopted child of a policeman who (as we see in the stunning memoirs) successfully instilled in him a complete moral code, which he adheres to on a strictly intellectual level.
The cast and production are amazing
It’s an absolutely brilliant concept (which I believe is borrowed from the novels it’s based on) that allows the authors to explore the nature of moral behavior and what it means to be human (Dexter, in some sense, , an alien). Another thing that the series does brilliantly is parallel movement at different speeds. There’s a major storyline spanning the entire season (about a cat-and-mouse game between Dexter and a serial killer) and a subplot involving Dexter’s sister’s police career. The first few episodes include a very powerful completed storyline involving one of Dexter’s colleagues in the police force and a local crime boss, while two of the four episodes so far also include a standalone story connected (and playing) off.) current I’ve seen the future of structuring TV seasons, and here it is. While the script doesn’t quite live up to the brilliance of the best House movies, it’s excellent.
together on the air
The only reason you won’t want to watch this absolutely brilliant show is its frequent use of extremely graphic imagery: the first four episodes probably featured more severed body parts than the first four episodes of any other TV show. If you can stomach it, tune in to a mesmerizing look at what makes us human — or inhuman.
