A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how Roszak’s sister evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident of Valya Harkonnen using the voice of ‘Mentats of Dune’ connects the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and The Suk Doctors.. It’s kind of silly to me how many people are complaining about this show after one decent pilot.
The quality was good
I’d give the first episode a 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it wasn’t necessarily as bad as many of these idiotic critics are making it out to be. No, it’s not like Sex and the City.
Stop rating it so highly after one episode
Yes, the entire mission of Benne Ghesserit is to manipulate the bloodshed in politics. It’s been expressed in the movies as well as the books, so what are you giving it 1-5 stars for!? Let’s just let it air a few more episodes first, dang!
