1. Goddess: Power, Glamour, Rebellion (Melbourne), an exhibition not to be missed

The event is hosted by The Australian Center of the Moving Image (ACMI) to embody their roles and gain control over their lives through iconic stories, characters and moments from film history spanning more than 120 years.

The exhibition also features never-before-seen film costumes, interactive experiences, and a treasure trove of widescreen displays, featuring women of all colors and nationalities.

The event is part of the Victorian Government’s Melbourne Winter 2023 program, and was curated to celebrate women on the silver screen.

2. Margaret River Region Open Studios (Perth, Western Australia), an impressive festival in Australia

Margaret River Region Open Studios is Australia’s largest Open Studio event. Art lovers can visit the lively visual arts festival taking place in the Margaret River Region, this event also offers visitors a rare opportunity to see private art studios which outside of this exhibition are not open to the public, meet the artists and see the works produced they are working on it.

More than 100 painters, sculptors, illustrators, jewellers, graphic printers, photographers and furniture makers will open their studios to visitors as part of the annual Margaret River Region Open Studios event.

3. Archibald Prize (New South Wales), a prestigious award event
The Archibald Prize is an award intended for portrait painting, apart from that, this award is also a favorite art award and one of the most significant in Australia.

Since 1921, the Archibald Prize has presented paintings of figures from all walks of life, from famous faces to local heroes, painted by Australian artists themselves.

4. CherryHill Orchards Blossom Festival (Yarra Valley, Victoria), a colorful festival in Australia

CherryHill Orchards Blossom Festival is an annual event held in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. This festival takes place from 16 September to 1 October 2023, and provides an opportunity for foreign tourists to enjoy the cherry blossoms in bloom at Wandin East orchard, which can be reached in approximately 90 minutes from Melbourne/Narrm in the Yarra Valley if by vehicle car.

Live music, yard games, food trucks, sip’n paint sessions, smartphone photography workshops, and hot air balloon rides can be done at this festival.

5. Evernow (Western Australia), highlighting local culture

Enjoy a new multi-sensory festival highlighting the rich culture of Western Australia’s indigenous people, EverNow. EverNow will dazzle visitors with sound, light and fire for five nights during the Noongar season (Noongar refers to the Aboriginal people living in the south-western corner of Western Australia) in Kambarang – when biodiversity, rich colors and stunning flowers bloom throughout country.

The series of events will be held throughout Perth/Boorloo, with a variety of performances, including: circle of songs, a celebration of the Noongar tribe full of song and dance, the telling of Noongar cultural stories, as well as fire shows and kinetic sculptures inspired by the stories. the story of the Elders of the Noongar tribe.
